AWARD at the ITS Austria Conference 2022

On November 4, 2022, the ITS Austria Conference, held under the theme “Digital Transformation in Mobility,” took place at the Federal Ministry for Climate Action in Vienna, focusing on how digital technologies and services can substantially contribute to achieving the 2040 climate goals. At this pivotal conference, Wolfgang Schildorfer from FH OÖ – Logistikum presented an insightful session titled “Digitaler Zwilling des Verkehrssytems Straße,” highlighting the significant strides being made in digital twin technologies for road traffic systems.

During his presentation, Wolfgang brought into focus the AWARD project alongside three other notable European projects: DIGEST, COPE, and ESRIUM. Each project, in its own right, is pioneering efforts to harness digital solutions to enhance mobility infrastructure and operations, thereby contributing to a more sustainable and efficient future.
