AWARD at Eurocast 2024 in Las Palmas
We are thrilled to announce AWARD’s significant participation in the Eurocast 2024 Conference, the 19th International Conference on Computer Aided Systems Theory, held from February 25th to March 1st, 2024, at the Museo Elder de la Ciencia y la Tecnología in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
On February 26th, at 17:30, Ulrike Ritzinger from the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology delivered an insightful presentation titled “On-demand Automated Guided Vehicles in Yard Logistics.” This presentation was part of the session 2 on the Theory and Applications of Metaheuristic Algorithms.
The paper explored the integration of automated vehicles, with all their features and possibilities, into optimized transport and dispatch planning. It emphasized the crucial role of incorporating automated vehicles into logistics operations to enhance sustainability and efficiency.
