AWARD at the ConnectingEurope Days 2024
Last week, the AWARD project had the privilege of participating in Connecting Europe Days 2024, held from April 2nd to 5th at the SQUARE in Brussels, Belgium. This flagship event, a beacon for Europe’s mobility sector, brought together over 3000 participants from all EU Member States, marking a pivotal moment for the future of transport and mobility across the continent. The event featured an indoor exhibition of EU-funded projects in the field of transport, where over 80 organisations presented how EU support has facilitated and accelerated their projects across a wide variety of EU funding programmes – Connecting Europe Facility, Horizon Europe, LIFE and more.
Positioned in the exhibition area on level minus two, Hall 1, at stand 48, the AWARD project’s booth became a nexus for insightful exchanges on autonomous logistics in mobility. Partners from Enide, IRU, CARA, and EasyMile represented the project, engaging with a myriad of visitors over the three days. The interactions ranged from in-depth discussions on the project’s achievements to broader conversations on the impact and future of autonomous mobility in logistics.
The presence of various AWARD partners at the booth underscored the collaborative spirit and multidisciplinary approach that has characterized the project. Each day, the booth attracted diverse individuals, from industry veterans to curious newcomers, all keen to learn about the project’s contributions to the mobility sector.
Connecting Europe Days 2024 was not just an event but a testament to the collective ambition to transform Europe’s mobility landscape. For the AWARD project, it was an opportunity to showcase our dedication to advancing autonomous logistics solutions. The success of the event was evident in the rich dialogues, new connections forged, and the shared enthusiasm for a more connected, autonomous, and sustainable future.
