AWARD at the CCAM Cluster Event 2024
On 24 September 2024, AWARD participated in the CCAM Cluster Event, organized by the ROADVIEW project, bringing together key stakeholders from the CCAM (Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility) landscape. The event was hosted online and featured an impressive lineup of speakers from prominent EU projects, policymakers, industry experts, and the broader scientific community.
This event served as a platform for discussing the latest developments in CCAM, sharing knowledge, and identifying opportunities to overcome challenges in the field.
The event began with a welcome and introduction from Eren Aksoy (ROADVIEW/HH) and Marzena Jougounoux (CCAM Association), followed by a presentation from Christian Merkt (CCAM Association/BMW), who shared the CCAM Partnership’s vision in advancing CCAM mobility across Europe. The session set the tone for a day of valuable exchanges on the future of automated and connected mobility.
One of the major highlights was the EU Project Pitch Presentation session, where Loha representing the AWARD project, presented the key achievements and goals of AWARD alongside other EU projects, such as AI-SEE, PoDIUM, IN2CCAM and EVENTS. This session showcased how these projects are tackling critical challenges in automation, logistics, and smart mobility.
Loha also played a central role in the panel discussion, titled “Current CCAM Barriers & Success Factors in the EU R&I Landscape”. The event also featured virtual poster presentations and video demonstrations, allowing participants to gain a closer look at the cutting-edge technologies being developed by various EU projects, including AWARD.
