What is at CVT Symposium Kaiserslautern?
The Commercial Vehicle Technology Symposium is a two-day conference held on the campus of the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in Germany. The conference includes numerous presentations of technical papers and posters focusing on international trends and technological developments in the commercial vehicle industry. The 7th edition was held on the 13th and 14th of September 2022. The conference includes (approximately) 50 oral presentations and poster presentations focusing on international trends and technological developments in the commercial vehicle industry. It was accompanied by a technical exhibition and a special vehicle exhibition.´
Why did AWARD participate?
Digitrans a partner at the AWARD H2020 project, was on site with a booth and presented possibilities and innovations around testing and deployment of use cases in the field of automated freight transport. One of the highlights was the EU project AWARD-H2020.
The team AWARD at the CVT Symposium Kaiserslautern had an opportunity to exchange know-how with professionals from industry and academia in the domains of trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, and special-purpose vehicles.

the H2020 project AWARD – All Weather Autonomous Real logistics operations and Demonstrations is paving the way for the roll-out of driverless transportation, whatever the weather conditions are. It will deploy safe and efficient connected and automated heavy-duty vehicles in real-life logistics operations.
