AWARD Project Participates in RESEARCH #INDUSTRIENAH Conference on Sustainable Success in Production and Logistics!

The AWARD (All Weather Autonomous Real logistics operations and Demonstrations) project was recently invited to participate in the RESEARCH #INDUSTRIENAH conference, which focused on sustainable success in production and logistics. The conference was held on September 19, 2022, at the FH OÖ Campus Steyr @SKF in Austria and brought together experts from the logistics and production industries, as well as academia and research institutions.

During the conference, Matthias Neubauer on behalf of FH OO , a member of the AWARD project, presented on the topic of “Connected and Automated Vehicles on the Rise in Commercial Applications.” The presentation focused on the ways in which connected and automated vehicles can improve logistics operations, particularly in terms of safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Neubauer discussed the AWARD project’s goals and objectives, which include developing and demonstrating innovative autonomous solutions for logistics operations in all weather conditions. The project aims to create a comprehensive range of technologies and tools to enable the safe and efficient transport of goods across different modes of transportation.
